Mount Waverley Primary School is partnering with the Resilience Project in 2025. Lessons will be delivered each week on a Monday at 10am for the remainder of the year.
The Resilience Project works with parents and carers in the school community, not only because wellbeing is relevant to them too, but because it helps to build the school-home connection. There is significant evidence that building the school–home connection is crucial to improving educational achievement and student wellbeing outcomes. There is a correlation between parent involvement and a variety of wellbeing metrics including:
Parent/Carer Hub
The Inspire Parent/Carer Hub content is designed to keep families engaged in the program. It includes information about the key principles of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy, along with the benefits of regularly practising these. Additionally, it offers activities that families can practise at home to support their wellbeing.
