The goal of YCDI! is to provide children with the foundations for achievement in school, work and in their daily lives, developing the potential of all children academically, intellectually, interpersonally and emotionally.
We focus on the four important Foundations
which will help your child do the best he or she can in their work.
In order for students to work independently on schoolwork and homework and to stay on task to learn key skills and knowledge and be successful, it is vital that they be able to:
- confident in beginning new work or continuing when work gets hard
- when the work is frustrating until the work is completed
- organised in their management of assigned class work and homework
- get along and work cooperatively with others, by managing conflict and following important school rules
