Music

 
During music classes, students learn to keep a beat by moving, clapping or responding. They learn to create and perform short vocal and instrumental works, experiment with sounds and perform song and dance activities.

Year three to six students learn the recorder which develops rhythm, notation and melodic skills.

Students at Mount Waverley are also given the opportunity to be part of the School Choir, Harmony Group and Senior Band.
