All children have one 45-minute lesson each week and experiment in many different types of medium including clay, painting, drawing and construction. Each child is encouraged to participate in all areas of the program and the goal for each lesson is for everyone to have fun and succeed at their own level.
The Art Room is open every Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime for extra art. Anyone may come, but only the first 25 can participate and those who do come, must stay for the whole session and help to clear up for the next class.
Children do not need an art smock as a class set is provided.
An art exhibition is held in Term 4. Each child has a piece of art displayed, and parents are welcome to attend.
